What does our new sign have to do with your wine? Both get better with age! Another milestone has been met at The Wine Foundry with the addition of our new sign. This is not just the usual insert-company-logo-here display. We wanted a sign as unique and personable as our mission. Handcrafted at Barber Sign Company, a family outfit in operation for over 50 years, each letter was forged of galvanized sheet metal and epoxy with the intention to evolve and change throughout the years to come. In order to give the aging process a head start on certain letters and Foundry flame, we armed Philip and family, along with Jenny and Sharath with a drill, blind rivets, hammer and a blow torch. Their goal? Quicken the distressing process on the letters ‘W-I-N-E’. Unsurprisingly, being Foundrians, everyone’s favorite part was torching! We look forward to everyone seeing the new sign upon their visit to The Wine Foundry (UnCorked 2015?); and watch over time how it ages beautifully, just like your wine!
