How do I make my own signature wines?
At The Wine Foundry, you choose from an impressive menu of prestigious vineyards and varietals, discuss your plans and goals with our winemakers, work with our design team on your unique label and packaging, and we craft your custom barrel of wine with our award-winning team in our state-of-the-art facility. Participation is encouraged but not required.
Do I get to customize my wines?
Yes. When you order your unique barrel of wine, our team works with you to achieve your goals. From grape selection through the final blending, we work with you to create a wine that reflects your personal preferences, tastes and style.
How can I start my own wine brand?
The Wine Foundry offers a program for select small ultra-premium commercial brands focusing on Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) sales. Contact us to learn more.
How much does it cost to make my custom wines?
We specialize in ultra-premium wines made with fruit from the most exclusive vineyards. , Prices vary depending on vineyard, varietal, and packaging selections. For detailed information, click HERE to view our Vineyard Guide.
Can I design my own label?
Yes. Our award-winning design team will work with you to create packaging that reflects your vision. You are welcome to provide your own label design or work with us on a custom graphic design that captures your winemaking journey.
How long does it take to make wine?
Each varietal has its own timeline, generally ranging from 6 to 24 months. If you want your wines sooner, we offer wines in barrel from previous vintages, known as “adoption barrels.” Contact us to inquire about availability.
Can I bring my own grapes?
Yes. This process is called “custom crush,” and we offer a complete range of winery services for your wine production needs. We have a minimum requirement of 3 tons per lot for custom crush services. If you would also like winemaking and packaging services, which are not included with traditional custom crush, we offer a full service winemaking program with a minimum of 1 ton per lot.
Can you store my finished wines?
Yes. We can store your finished wines for you at our temperature controlled third-party wine storage and fulfillment center and have it shipped for you as you need it. We can arrange for wine shipping worldwide.
Can I make wine if I don’t live in California or the US?
Yes. No matter where you live, you can make custom wines crafted to your personal taste and preference. We can ship wines to almost every state within the U.S. and we also ship around the globe.
